The Oak Ridge Pioneers will face off against the Holy Cross Lutheran Academy Crusaders at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses for Oak Ridge and six for Holy Cross Lutheran Academy dating back to last season.

Oak Ridge's usually-dominant defense will be looking to make up for Tuesday's struggle, when Freedom offense got past them. Oak Ridge was dealt a 38-0 defeat at the hands of Freedom on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Pioneers have suffered since February 28, 2024.

Meanwhile, Holy Cross Lutheran Academy unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They were outmatched by Crooms Academy and fell 48-0.

Oak Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Holy Cross Lutheran Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
