Softball Recap: Saint Mary's Panthers vs. St. Patrick-St. Vincent Bruins
Saint Mary won the last time they faced St. Patrick-St. Vincent and things went their way on Thursday too. The Panthers put the hurt on the Bruins with a sharp 12-1 victory. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won three contests by ten runs or more so far this season.
Isabelle Koehn made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out six batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits (and only one walk). Those hits marked the first that she allowed this season. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.
