It was a proper cat-fight when Taylor duked it out with Pine Ridge on Wednesday. The Wildcats put the hurt on the Panthers with a sharp 3-0 win. The Wildcats were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Panthers, so the Wildcats were just returning the favor.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Taylor was: they took every set by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-12, 25-12.

Ava Castro paced Taylor's offense, picking up 11 kills. Castro got some help from Emely Cardenas and her 17 assists.

The victory got Taylor back to even at 2-2. As for Pine Ridge, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Taylor will square off against Crescent City at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Pine Ridge, they will face off against Deltona at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. This will be the Panthers' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
