Broadway never let their opponents score on Friday. They blew past the Rockbridge County Wildcats 10-0. The result was nothing new for the Gobblers, who have now won 13 matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Broadway's win was their tenth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-3. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.2 runs on average over those games. As for Rockbridge County, their loss dropped their record down to 5-9.

When Broadway and Rockbridge County next hit the field, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. The Gobblers will face off against Amherst County and their three-game winning streak at 12:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Broadway 1.6, the Lancers 3.1) so any runs scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Rockbridge County will try to stop Turner Ashby's ten-game winning streak when they meet at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
