On Saturday, Westminster was beaten by North Atlanta 42-0. The matchup marked the first time this year in which the Wildcats were not able to get on the board.

Meanwhile, Kell waltzed into their contest on Thursday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They really took it to the Bears for the full four quarters, racking up a 78-25 win. With the Longhorns ahead 44-14 at the half, the game was all but over already.

Kell's victory was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 17-5. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 27.9 points per game. As for Westminster, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-10.
