Recap: Victory Baptist Academy Saints vs. Elk Valley Christian
The Victory Baptist Academy Saints can now show off seven landslide victories after their most recent contest on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Elk Valley Christian with a sharp 50-26 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Victory Baptist Academy also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2023.
Victory Baptist Academy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Isaac Conaway, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds. Conaway hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Noah Childers, who almost dropped a double-double on 11 points and nine rebounds.
Victory Baptist Academy's win bumped their record up to 14-8. As for Elk Valley Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-11.
Victory Baptist Academy and Lewisburg Baptist Academy will face off at 2:00 p.m. on February 10th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. As for Elk Valley Christian, they will head out on the road to challenge Pipestem Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
