Softball Recap: Canoga Park Takes a Loss

Canoga Park extended their losing streak to six on Wednesday, dropping their season record down to 3-10 in the process. They lost 22-2 to the Reseda Regents. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, the Hunters couldn't push the score so high this time.

As for Reseda, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-7 record this season. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine contests by seven runs or more this season.

For Reseda's part, the team relied heavily on Fuentes Thereze, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, four stolen bases, and four runs. That's the most stolen bases Thereze has posted since back in March. Jhoana Moreno was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with five stolen bases, four runs, and one RBI.

As of now, neither Canoga Park nor Reseda have any future games scheduled.
