Football Game Preview: Kentwood Conquerors vs. Tahoma Bears + How To Watch

The Kentwood Conquerors will face off against the Tahoma Bears at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Kentwood comes in on three and Tahoma on four.

On Friday, Kentwood needed a bit of extra time to put away Auburn. They managed a 50-44 victory over the Trojans. Things were looking grim for the Conquerors in the first quarter (they were down by 24) but they stormed back to get the contest.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Kentwood to victory, but perhaps none more so than Brandon Tagle, who threw for 317 yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 82 yards on only 11 carries. Those 317 passing yards gave Tagle a new career-high. Kentwood's leading receiver Romeo Cabansag was Tagle's top target yet again, picking up 131 receiving yards and a pair of TDs.

Meanwhile, Tahoma beat Mt. Rainier 17-7 on Thursday.

Kentwood's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Tahoma, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 5-2.

Kentwood took a serious blow against Tahoma in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, falling 49-21. That matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Conquerors were down 42-15.
