Basketball Recap: Ephram Welsh Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Merritt Island Christian

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Calvary Chapel Academy walked away with it. They walked away with a 57-45 win over the Merritt Island Christian Cougars on Monday. This was a revenge game for the Eagles: when they faced off against the Cougars back in January, they had to take a 52-45 loss.

The team also got some help courtesy of Caleb Welsh, who almost dropped a double-double with 11 points and nine assists.
