Platte Canyon had already won six in a row and they went ahead and made it seven on Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Englewood Pirates. That's more bragging rights for the Huskies, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Platte Canyon walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the second set). The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-13, 25-19.

Abbi Tomasko paced Platte Canyon's offense, picking up 15 kills. Tomasko got some help from Brooke Chick and her 13 assists. Zo? Lubansky controlled things from the service line, finishing with seven aces.

Platte Canyon's victory bumped their record up to 10-7. As for Englewood, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-14.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Platte Canyon will host Bennett at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Englewood, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on William Smith at 5:30 p.m. on the 23rd.
