Football Recap: Milwaukie/Milwaukie Academy of the Arts Starts Season with Win at Home

Milwaukie/Milwaukie Academy of the Arts took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Friday. They really took it to the South Eugene Axe for the full four quarters, racking up a 42-0 win. The Mustangs pushed the score to 35-0 by the end of the third, a deficit the Axe had no chance of recovering from.

Milwaukie/Milwaukie Academy of the Arts will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Parkrose at 7:00 p.m. on the 19th. As for South Eugene, they will challenge North Eugene at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup will give the Axe their first taste of in-conference action this season.
