Basketball Recap: Incline Piles Up the Points Against Oasis Academy

A well-balanced attack led Incline over Oasis Academy in every quarter on their way to victory on Wednesday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Incline Highlanders blew the Oasis Academy Bighorns out of the water with an 82-19 final score. The Highlanders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 matchups by 29 points or more this season.

Tommy Williams continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, shooting 4-for-7 from beyond the arc and dropping a double-double on 28 points and 12 rebounds. His evening made it 26 games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points. Another player making a difference was Halen Hanson, who went 8 of 10 on his way to 18 points and six boards.

Incline was working as a unit and finished the game with 18 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Oasis Academy only posted eight assists.

Incline's victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-5. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 35.3 points. As for Oasis Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-16.

Incline wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 65-56 defeat against West Wendover on the 7th. As for Oasis Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 58-43 win against Sierra Lutheran on the 8th.
