Volleyball Recap: Lyman Comes Up Short + How To Watch

After flying high against Lander Valley last Thursday, Lyman came back down to earth. The Eagles lost 3-0 to the Pinedale Wranglers on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Eagles have suffered since October 22, 2024.

Lyman was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the third set very close. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-18, 25-23.

Lexie Snyder paced Lyman's offense, picking up 13 kills. Snyder got some help from Amy Eyre and her 33 assists. Addison Smith controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Megan Boulter was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had 11 digs.

Lyman's loss dropped their record down to 14-10-1. As for Pinedale, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 15-8-1.

Looking ahead, Lyman will challenge Cokeville at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Pinedale, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Lander Valley at 5:00 p.m. on the 17th.
