Volleyball Recap: Conway Comes Up Short

Conway was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the Greenfield Wildcats. The Bears were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wildcats apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2022.

The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-11, 17-25, 25-8.

Adalee Letterman paced Conway's offense, picking up 15 kills. Letterman really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with 14. She was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Conway's defeat dropped their record down to 14-11. As for Greenfield, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-7-2.

Coming up, after both having extra time off, Conway and Ava will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Greenfield, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Pleasant Hope on the 11th.
