Softball Recap: Union County Takes a Loss

After flying high against Tates Creek on Saturday, Union County came back down to earth. The Braves lost 16-5 to the Male Bulldogs on Saturday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Braves have suffered since April 8th.

The defeat snapped Union County's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 17-13 record. As for Male, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-8 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Union County will face off against Henderson County at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Colonels will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Braves surely won't give up without a fight. As for Male, they will square off against Great Crossing at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
