Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Wilcox). They simply couldn't be stopped on Monday as they easily beat the Lynbrook Vikings 69-0. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Chargers considering their seven-point performance the game before.

Wilcox's victory bumped their record up to 7-10-2. As for Lynbrook, their loss dropped their record down to 0-7.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Wilcox is set to challenge their familiar foe Monta Vista at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Chargers 12.7, the Matadors 9.1) so any points scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Lynbrook will take on rival Palo Alto at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
