Basketball Recap: Centennial Gets the Win

Centennial hadn't done well against Robbinsdale Armstrong recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Centennial Cougars had just enough and edged the Robbinsdale Armstrong Falcons out 64-62. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Cougars have posted since December 21, 2023.

Centennial is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 9-10 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.8 points per game. As for Robbinsdale Armstrong, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-14.

Centennial wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 57-50 win against Duluth East on the 1st. Robbinsdale Armstrong has also already played their next game, a 73-43 loss against Champlin Park on the 3rd.
