Recap: Brookhaven Panthers vs. Natchez Bulldogs
The Brookhaven Panthers entered their tilt with the Natchez Bulldogs with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. Brookhaven enjoyed a cozy 29-14 victory over Natchez on Thursday. The score was all tied up 14-14 at the break, but Brookhaven was the (much) better team in the second half.
When it comes to explaining why Natchez lost, one person who can't be blamed is Carl Mcdonald jr. Despite the final result, he rushed for 179 yards and a touchdown while picking up 11.2 yards per carry. Mcdonald jr was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 64 yards.
Brookhaven now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Natchez, they now have a losing record at 5-6.
Brookhaven will look to defend their home field on November 10th against Vancleave at 7:00 p.m. As for Natchez, they will head out on the road to face off against Gautier at 7:00 p.m. on November 10th. Gautier will be looking to keep their five-game home win streak alive.
