You're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter, and that's exactly how it played out for York on Tuesday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that they blew the Lakeview Vikings out of the water with a 58-29 final score. The Dukes have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matches by 25 points or more this season.

Lainey Portwine was her usual excellent self, putting up nine points along with eight assists and six boards. She is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last ten games she's played. Chloe Koch was another key player, going 6 for 10 en route to 12 points and four steals.

They weren't the only one working in the assists department: York was working as a unit and finished the game with 15 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Lakeview only racked up eight assists.

Lakeview lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Jaelyn Mejstrik, who posted four points and eight rebounds.

The victory was the third in a row for York, bringing their record for this year to 14-2. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.3 points per game. As for Lakeview, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last ten contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season.

York has already played their next game, a 38-27 win against Crete on the 30th. As for Lakeview, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 55-52 victory against Adams Central on the 1st.
