Softball Recap: Wisdom Beats Ashland for Their Fourth Straight Win

Wisdom waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They were the clear victors by a 15-5 margin over the Ashland Hornets. The result was nothing new for the Pioneers, who have now won six contests by ten runs or more so far this season.

Wisdom's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-4. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.3 runs over those games. As for Ashland, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-4.

Looking ahead, Wisdom will welcome Fort Kent at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Pioneers will need to watch out since the Warriors have now posted at least ten runs in their last four games. As for Ashland, they will head out to challenge Madawaska at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Hornets are facing the Owls at the right time seeing as the Owls are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
