Football Recap: Hunter Davis' Big Game Can't Quite Lead Riverside over Potomac Falls + How To Watch

Riverside extended their losing streak to seven on Friday, dropping them down to 2-8. They took a 20-10 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Potomac Falls Panthers. The Ram were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Panthers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Riverside's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Hunter Davis, who picked up 88 receiving yards and one TD.

As for Potomac Falls, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-4. The road wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 13.3 points on average over those games.

Potomac Falls' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Aj Pawlowski, who threw for 132 yards and one touchdown, and also rushed for 70 yards. Alex Hines was another key player, rushing for 35 yards and a pair of scores.

Riverside does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Potomac Falls, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Lightridge at 7:00 p.m.
