Fisher is 9-1 against John Ehret since March of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Fisher Gators will head out on the road to square off against the John Ehret Patriots at 3:30 p.m. Fisher is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.7 runs per game this season.
Last Saturday, Fisher got the win against Salmen by a conclusive 17-2. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Gators.
Haiden Martin was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. What's more, he gave up only zero walks, the fewest he's had since back in March of 2024. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances.

In other batting news, Fisher got a big performance out of Charles Shamp, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in both of his plate appearances. Shamp is becoming a predictor of Fisher's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 0-2-1 when he doesn't). Tyler Mike was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.
Fisher always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .679. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, John Ehret fought the good fight in their extra-innings matchup against Warren Easton on Saturday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Fighting Eagles by a score of 7-6.
DUSTIN WALKER was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now stole at least one in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was BRYCEN FORET, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI and two doubles.
Fisher pushed their record up to 4-2-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs over those games. As for John Ehret, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-7.
Fisher took their victory against John Ehret in their previous matchup two weeks ago by a conclusive 15-5. The rematch might be a little tougher for Fisher since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
