Awaken Christian won the last time they faced GV Christian and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Lions were the clear victors by a 14-8 margin over the Guardians. The result was nothing new for the Lions, who have now won 11 contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Kaylee Rasmussen was incredible, going a perfect 5-for-5 with one home run, four stolen bases, and five runs. That's the most hits she has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Cailey Velarde, who went 1-for-4 with three stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI.

Awaken Christian was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .463. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as GV Christian only posted a batting average of .207.

The win made it two in a row for Awaken Christian and bumps their season record up to 11-8. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.5 runs over those games. As for GV Christian, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-13.

Awaken Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for GV Christian, they will take on Mountain View Christian at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Saints have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 14.67 runs per game on average), something the Guardians will no doubt try to take advantage of.
