Soccer Game Preview: Hampden vs. Mt. Ararat + How To Watch

Hampden is 0-9-1 against Mt. Ararat since October of 2016 but things could change on Friday. The Broncos will venture away from home to challenge the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. Hampden will be strutting in after a win while Mt. Ararat will be coming in after a defeat.

Hampden is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. Their defense stepped up to hand Oxford Hills an 8-0 shutout on Saturday. The high-scoring effort was just what Hampden needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Mt. Ararat's offense. They fell just short of Lewiston by a score of 1-0 on Tuesday. That's two games in a row now that Mt. Ararat have lost by just one goal.

Mt. Ararat now has a losing record of 5-6-1. As for Hampden, their victory bumped their record up to 3-5-3.

Hampden might still be hurting after the 8-0 loss they got from Mt. Ararat in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. Can the Broncos avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
