With a playoff win on the line, Rossville rose to the challenge on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Clinton Prairie Gophers as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Hornets in their matchups with the Gophers: they've now won five in a row.

Rossville found their leader in freshman Cassie Schoon, who had 11 digs and one assist.

When it comes to explaining why Clinton Prairie lost, don't look at Cambell Carter. Despite the final result, she had 15 digs and one assist.

Rossville's victory bumped their record up to 28-3. As for Clinton Prairie, with the defeat, they broke their three-match winning streak and moved their record to 13-19.

Rossville didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Carroll on the 18th. Clinton Prairie does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
