Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Westside). They breezed past the Houston Math Science & Tech Tigers to the tune of 83-34 on Friday. The win continues a trend for the Wolves in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won eight in a row.

Jaden Gonzalez and David Vasquez certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Gonzalez posted eight points, while Vasquez went 5-for-8 on his way to 13 points. That's the most points Gonzalez has posted since back in November of 2024.

Westside's victory bumped their record up to 21-6. As for Houston Math Science & Tech, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-22.

Westside wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 46-44 loss against Cypress Falls on the 18th. Houston Math Science & Tech does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
