Volleyball Recap: Segerstrom Comes Up Short

After flying high against Laguna Hills last Thursday, Segerstrom came back down to earth. The Segerstrom Jaguars took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Valencia Tigers on Tuesday. If the Jaguars were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Tigers when the teams met back in February of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Segerstrom dropped their record down to 2-7 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Valencia, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 6-2.

Coincidentally, Segerstrom and Valencia will both be playing Costa Mesa the next time they take the court. Valencia will head out to face Costa Mesa at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, while Segerstrom will host them at 5:00 p.m. on March 11th.
