Poudre faced Fossil Ridge in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Impalas blew past the SaberCats 3-0. The victory was familiar territory for the Impalas, who have now won four games in a row.

The match came down to the wire multiple times:two sets needed extra rallies to declare a winner. The match finished with set scores of 28-26, 25-18, 26-24.

Poudre's win bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Fossil Ridge, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-4.

Poudre wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Boulder on the 1st. As for Fossil Ridge, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Greeley Central on the 1st.
