Basketball Recap: Seminary Takes a Loss

Seminary was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They fell 46-36 to the Hazlehurst Indians. Sadly, that's the third time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 60-44 last Friday.

It was another big night for Jakavion Johnson, who posted 21 points for Hazlehurst. Johnson's evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Trae'Kerrion Collins, who scored ten points.

Seminary's loss dropped their record down to 1-17. As for Hazlehurst, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-13.

Seminary does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Hazlehurst has already played their next match (against Magee), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
