Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Alturas Prep). They strolled past the Clark County Bobcats with points to spare on Wednesday, taking the game 58-41. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Pumas as it put an end to their six-game losing streak.

Alturas Prep got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Korbin Russum-Stubbs out in front who posted 21 points. That makes it four consecutive games in which Russum-Stubbs has scored at least a third of Alturas Prep's points. Another player making a difference was Cody White, who earned 16 points.

Alturas Prep's victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-10. As for Clark County, they are on a 16-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-17.

Alturas Prep is taking a road trip to face off against Leadore at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Clark County, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 61-24 defeat against Watersprings on the 6th.
