Softball Recap: Barberton Comes Up Short

If Barberton was riding high fresh off their 10-0 takedown of Ketchikan last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Magics lost 18-2 to the Tallmadge Blue Devils on Monday. The loss continues a trend for the Magics in their meetings with the Blue Devils: they've now lost seven in a row.

Barberton saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Natalie Snider, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Barberton now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Tallmadge, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-5.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Barberton is set to take on their familiar foe Roosevelt at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Tallmadge will square off against rival Highland at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
