Volleyball Recap: Powers Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Powers was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Elkton Elks. If the Cruisers were looking for revenge after losing 3-2 to the Elks when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Powers' defeat dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Elkton, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-2.

Coming up, Powers will be playing in front of their home fans against Riddle at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Elkton, they have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Pacific on the 2nd.
