The loss continues a trend for the Panthers in their meetings with the Dragons: they've now lost three in a row.

Pauls Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 3-19. As for Purcell, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-11 record this season.

While Pauls Valley had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
