After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Covington Catholic, Dixie Heights was happy to have turned things around on Monday. Everything went their way against the Bracken County Polar Bears as the Dixie Heights Colonels made off with a 67-41 win. The Colonels have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 matches by 20 points or more this season.

Dixie Heights' victory bumped their record up to 19-7. As for Bracken County, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 9-18 record this season.

Dixie Heights has already played their next game, a 61-52 loss against Cooper on the 18th. As for Bracken County, they will head out to face off against Dayton at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
