Bolton falls despite strong effort from Somari Brown

The Bolton Bulldogs's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their 18th straight defeat. They suffered a rough 65-41 loss at the hands of Granby Memorial. Bolton was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Granby Memorial apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2023.
When it comes to explaining why Bolton lost, one person who can't be blamed is Somari Brown. Despite the final result, he scored 12 points along with three steals. Andrew Baranov was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Bolton dropped their record down to 1-18 with that defeat, which was their ninth straight at home. As for Granby Memorial, their win bumped their record up to 7-11.
Bolton will head out on the road to challenge Coventry at 6:45 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Bolton focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 18 on Friday. Granby Memorial does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
