Basketball Game Preview: Comstock Park Panthers vs. NorthPointe Christian Mustangs

The Comstock Park Panthers will face off against the NorthPointe Christian Mustangs at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Comstock Park has now lost eight straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since January 7.

Last Tuesday, Comstock Park ended up a good deal behind Hopkins and lost 38-23.

Meanwhile, NorthPointe Christian lost 53-32 to Calvin Christian on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 457th, while the Squires are ranked 179th).

Comstock Park's loss dropped their record down to 3-13. As for NorthPointe Christian, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches, which has put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season.

Things could have been worse for Comstock Park, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 49-31 loss to NorthPointe Christian in their previous matchup back in January.
