They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the John Carroll Catholic Cavaliers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cardinals of the 1-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2024.

St. Michael Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 7-6-1. As for John Carroll Catholic, they now also have a winning record of 7-6-1.
