The Meadows School has enjoyed a three-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. After both having extra time off, they and the Fernley Vaqueros will dust off their jerseys to challenge one another at 4:40 p.m. on Friday. The Meadows School will be strutting in after a win while Fernley will be coming in after a defeat.
The Meadows School is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over Moapa Valley.

Aarti Patel and Grace Evans were among the main playmakers for The Meadows School as the former had 15 digs and four aces and the latter had 12 digs, three blocks, and a kill. Evans has been hot for a while, having also posted 18 or more assists the last 17 times she's played.
The Meadows School kept the net locked down and finished the game with 11 blocks. That's the most blocks they've posted since back in November of 2023.
Meanwhile, after a string of ten wins, Fernley's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell 3-1 to Elko.
The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Elko scored at least 19 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 20-25, 25-21, 25-23.
The Meadows School's win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-5. As for Fernley, their defeat dropped their record down to 22-5.
