Legacy Christian Academy waltzed into their game on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They strolled past the Briarwood Mustangs with points to spare, taking the game 48-33. Given the Warriors' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 711th, while the Mustangs are ranked 1459th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Legacy Christian Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 23-8 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.2 points per game. As for Briarwood, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Coincidentally, Legacy Christian Academy and Briarwood will both be playing Brazosport Christian the next time they take the court. Legacy Christian Academy will head out to face Brazosport Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while Briarwood will host them at 7:00 p.m. on January 28th.
