Softball Recap: Cherokee Braves vs. Copper Basin Cougars
Cherokee extended their losing streak to four on Thursday, dropping them down to 4-7. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 7-6 heartbreaker at the hands of the Copper Basin Cougars. That's two games in a row now that the Braves have lost by just one run.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cherokee will host Murphy at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Bulldogs' pitching crew has only allowed 3.2 runs per game this season, so the Braves' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
