Plainfield East and Naperville Central squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Plainfield East had to settle for second. They lost 4-0 to the Redhawks. Plainfield East were not able to make up for their loss to Naperville Central from their previous meeting back in October of 2022.

Plainfield East's defeat dropped their record down to 7-14. As for Naperville Central, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-2-1 record this season.
