Soccer Recap: Thornton Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Thornton's offense. They came up short against the Mountain Range Mustangs on Friday, falling 4-0. Thornton just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Thornton's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Mountain Range, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-1.

Looking ahead, Thornton will face off against Adams City at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Thornton is facing Adams City at the right time seeing as Adams City is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Mountain Range, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Northglenn at 6:00 p.m. on April 10. The timing is sure in Mountain Range's favor as the squad sits on four straight wins at home while Northglenn has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.
