Basketball Recap: South Point Picks Up Fourth Straight Win at Home

South Point won the last time they faced Rock Hill and things went their way on Friday too. The South Point Pointers came out on top against the Rock Hill Redmen by a score of 59-48. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Pointers.

Several Redmen players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kelan Davidson, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten boards. Davidson is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last 14 games he's played. Another player making a difference was Rylan Barker, who went 6 of 15 en route to 15 points and six assists.

South Point pushed their record up to 9-10 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.8 points over those games. As for Rock Hill, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last 11 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. South Point will face off against Rock Hill at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Rock Hill, they will challenge Ironton at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
