Softball Recap: Beulah Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Beulah can now relate to. They came up short against the Lee-Scott Academy Warriors on Saturday, falling 8-0. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Bobcats haven't been shut out since back in March.

Beulah dropped their record down to 15-19-1 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road. Even worse, they were so close so many times: the losses came by an average of only 2.33 runs. As for Lee-Scott Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-11-1 record this season.

As of now, neither Beulah nor Lee-Scott Academy have any future games scheduled.
