Preview: Cherry Hill East Cougars vs. Medford Tech Jaguars
After two games on the road, Cherry Hill East is heading back home. They will take on the Medford Tech Jaguars at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday. Neither of these teams found much success offensively their last time out, scoring well below their season average.
While it was all tied up 16-16 at halftime, Cherry Hill East was not quite Middle Township's equal in the second half on Sunday. They took a 35-25 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Cherry Hill East has scored all season.
Meanwhile, Medford Tech's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their fifth straight loss. They were dealt a 50-21 loss at the hands of Timber Creek Regional. While losing is never fun, Medford Tech can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 356th, while Timber Creek Regional is ranked 140th).
Cherry Hill East has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-10 record this season. As for Medford Tech, they dropped their record down to 2-16 with that defeat, which was their third straight at home.
