Football Recap: Carteret Ramblers vs. Bernards Mountaineers
Carteret was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were beaten by the Bernards Mountaineers 35-7.
Logan Stevens continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Bernards, rushing for 73 yards and three touchdowns on only seven carries, while also picking up 52 receiving yards. Another player making a difference was Nolan Walsh, who threw for 204 yards and a touchdown while completing 84.6% of his passes.
Carteret's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Bernards, the victory for them keeps them at an undefeated 9-0.
