Basketball Recap: Clements Comes Up Short

Clements was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They took a hard 66-49 fall against the East Lawrence Eagles. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Colts this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 90-81 back in November.

Clements' loss dropped their record down to 1-12. As for East Lawrence, the victory got them back to even at 5-5.

Clements won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Rogers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Clements is facing Rogers at the right time seeing as Rogers is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for East Lawrence, they also won't have to wait long for more action: they'll take on Ardmore at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. East Lawrence will also cruise into their next contest with the timing on their side: Ardmore will have lost seven straight heading into Tuesday's match.
