Softball Game Preview: Keystone Wildcats vs. Southeast Pirates

The Keystone Wildcats will face off against the Southeast Pirates at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Keystone has struggled recently with three defeats in a row, while Southeast will arrive with five straight wins.

On Saturday, Keystone came up short against Wellington and fell 8-4.

Meanwhile, Southeast owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Thursday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-0 victory over Liberty.

Southeast's win was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Liv Bragg, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Southeast hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least five batters in four consecutive contests.

Keystone's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 12-1 and their overall record down to 13-8. As for Southeast, their victory bumped their record up to 15-5.
