Basketball Recap: Shiloh Comes Up Short

After flying high against Chamblee last Thursday, Shiloh came back down to earth. The Shiloh Generals lost to the Lakeside Vikings at home by a 58-44 margin on Tuesday. The Generals have struggled against the Vikings recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Shiloh now has a losing record at 9-10. As for Lakeside, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Shiloh will head out to square off against Arabia Mountain at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Lakeside, they are taking a road trip to challenge Woodward Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Woodward Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully Lakeside likes a good challenge.
