Basketball Recap: Stephenville Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Stephenville can now relate to. They came up short against the Estacado Matadors on Tuesday, falling 58-37. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Matadors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 48-39 back in December of 2024.

Stephenville has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 17-17 record this season. As for Estacado, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 20-13.

As of now, neither Stephenville nor Estacado have any future games scheduled.
